1 onion, diced 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips 1 t. lemon-pepper seasoning 1/2 t. dried oregano 1/4 t. allspice 1/4 c. plain yogurt 1/4 c. sour cream 1/2 c. cucumber, peeled and diced 4 rounds pita bread, halved and split
Place onion and garlic in a 3- to 4-quart slow cooker; set aside. Sprinkle chicken with seasonings; place in slow cooker. Cover and cook on high setting for 4 to 5 hours, until chicken is no longer pink. Stir together yogurt, sour cream and cucumber in a small bowl; chill. Fill pita halves with chicken and drizzle with yogurt sauce. Serves 4.
