9-inch pie crust, unbaked 1/2 c. pecan halves 3 eggs 1 c. dark corn syrup 1 c. sugar 1 t. vanilla extract 1/8 t. salt
Place unbaked crust in a 9" pie plate. Arrange pecans in crust; set aside. In a bowl, beat eggs well. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour mixture over pecans in crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes; reduce oven to 325 degrees. Bake an additional 30 minutes or until center of pie is set. Cool completely. Serves 8.
