8-oz. pkg. smoked Cheddar cheese, shredded
8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 4-oz. jars pimentos or roasted red peppers, drained and diced
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/2 t. smoked salt or 1/4 t. smoke-flavored cooking sauce
1/4 t. hot pepper sauce
1/4 t. red pepper flakes
pita chips
In a food processor or blender, combine all
ingredients except pita chips. Pulse until combined.
If mixture is too thick, add a little more mayonnaise.
If more smoky flavor or heat is desired, add more
smoke or hot sauce to taste. Serve with pita chips. Serves 8.
