1-1/4 c. all-purpose flour 1 t. baking powder 3 T. sugar 1/2 c. plus 2 T. butter, softened and divided 3/4 c. milk 3 eggs, divided 16-oz. container cottage cheese 1 T. sour cream 1/2 t. salt
Combine flour, baking powder, sugar and 1/2 cup butter in a medium bowl. Mix well; stir in milk and 2 eggs. Set aside. Stir together cottage cheese, sour cream, salt, remaining butter and egg in a separate bowl; set aside. Spoon half the flour mixture into a lightly greased 9"x9" baking pan; top with cottage cheese mixture, then with remaining flour mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes, or until puffy and golden. Let cool slightly; cut into squares. Serves 6. | |
