Pineapple Cheese Ball

2-8-oz. pkgs. cream cheese, softened
8-oz. can pineapple tidbits, drained
2 to 4 T. onion, chopped
1/2 c. green pepper, chopped
1/2 t. salt
Optional: pepper to taste
2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
snack crackers, pita wedges and celery sticks


In a bowl, blend together cream cheese, pineapple, onion, green pepper and seasonings. Mix well; roll into one or 2 balls. Roll in chopped nuts to coat. Wrap in plastic wrap; keep refrigerated. Serve with crackers, pita wedges and celery. Serves 10 to 15.
