Warm Blue Cheese & Bacon Dip

7 slices bacon
2 cloves garlic, minced
8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. half-and-half
4-oz. container crumbled blue cheese
2 T. fresh chives, chopped
baguette slices, celery sticks


Cook bacon until crisp in a skillet over medium heat. Drain bacon on paper towels; crumble and set aside. Add garlic to drippings in skillet; sauté until soft, about one minute. In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese and half-and-half with an electric mixer on low speed. Stir in bacon, garlic, blue cheese and chives; spoon into an ungreased 8"x8" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, until lightly golden. Serve with baguette slices and celery sticks. Serves 6
