2 lbs. fresh butternut squash
20-oz. can apple pie filling
1/2 t. pumpkin pie spice
1/2 t. nutmeg
3/4 t. salt
1 T. butter or margarine
Peel squash, cut into 2" cubes and place in a greased 2-quart casserole dish. Top with apple pie filling. Sprinkle with seasonings; dot with butter. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Serves 6.
