2 lbs. boneless pork, cubed
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 t. garlic salt
1/4 t. pepper
1/2 c. margarine
14-1/2 oz. can chicken broth
1-1/2 oz. pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 c. water
1/2 c. milk
1 T. cornstarch
Thread pork closely together on 6 wooden skewers; set aside. Combine flour, garlic salt and pepper; coat pork. Melt margarine in a large skillet over medium heat; brown pork skewers on all sides until golden in color, about 15 minutes. Mix chicken broth, onion soup and water together in a mixing bowl; pour over pork in skillet. Cover and simmer on low heat for 1-1/2 hours; remove pork skewers and set aside. Add milk and cornstarch to broth mixture; stir until thick and bubbly. Pour over pork skewers before serving. Makes 6 servings.
