Teriyaki Pork Ribs

2 lbs. boneless country-style ribs
1/2 c. soy sauce
1/4 c. oil
1/4 c. onion, chopped
3 T. honey
3 T. dry sherry or water
2 t. fresh ginger, peeled and grated
2 cloves garlic, minced


Place pork ribs in a large plastic zipping bag; set aside. Combine remaining ingredients in a bowl; mix well and pour over ribs. Seal bag; turn to coat. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight; drain. (If desired, bring marinade to a boil and brush over ribs.) Grill ribs on a hot grill to desired doneness. Serves 4.
