3 c. bowtie pasta, uncooked
8 c. green cabbage, chopped
1 c. onion, chopped
2 T. olive oil, or 3 T. butter
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1/2 t. caraway seed
1/2 t. salt
1/8 t. pepper
1 lb. Polish Kielbasa sausage, sliced
Cook pasta according to package directions, undercooking by 2 minutes; drain. Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, sauté cabbage
and onion in olive oil or butter until lightly golden. Stir in garlic and seasonings. Add pasta; stir gently and sauté for one minute. Add sausage; cover and cook over medium-low heat for another 3 to 5 minutes, until heated through. Serves 5.
