Biscuits & Gravy Roll-Ups

1 lb. mild ground pork breakfast sausage
8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
8-oz. tube refrigerated crescent dough sheet


Brown sausage in a skillet over medium heat; drain and stir in cream cheese. Unroll crescent dough; spread sausage mixture over dough all the way to the edge. Roll up dough lengthwise; refrigerate until firm. If baking the next day, wrap roll in parchment paper and aluminum foil; refrigerate overnight. Slice chilled roll into 1/4-inch rounds; arrange on a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake, uncovered, at 375 degrees for 15 minutes, or until golden. Serves 6.
