2 c. all-purpose flour 1 T. baking powder 2 t. sugar 1/2 t. cream of tartar 1/4 t. salt 1/2 c. butter, melted 1 c. milk
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, cream of tartar and salt. Stir in butter and milk just until moistened. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls onto a lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 8 to 12 minutes, until golden around the edges. Serve warm. Makes 8 to 10 biscuits. | |
