1 to 2 5-oz. cans tuna, drained and flaked 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs 1/2 c. onion, diced 1/2 c. celery, diced 1/3 c. mayonnaise 1 egg, beaten 1 T. olive oil 4 hamburger buns, split Garnish: lettuce leaves, sliced tomato, sliced onion
In a bowl, combine tuna, bread crumbs, onion, celery, mayonnaise and egg. Shape into 4 patties. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; add patties. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side, until lightly golden. Drain on paper towels. Serve patties in buns with favorite toppings. Makes 4 servings. | |
