9 c. bite-size crispy rice cereal squares
12-oz. pkg. peanuts
1 lb. can mixed nuts
1/4 c. corn syrup
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/4 t. baking soda
1/2 t. vanilla extract
14-oz. pkg. candy-coated chocolates
Combine cereal, peanuts and mixed nuts in a brown paper bag;
set aside. Mix corn syrup, butter and brown sugar together in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave for 4 minutes on high setting, stirring 3 times. Add baking soda and vanilla; pour over cereal mixture. Shake bag to coat; microwave on high setting for 1-1/2 minutes. Shake to mix; microwave for an additional 15 seconds. Stir in candy; pour onto
wax paper. Let set. Makes about 16 cups.
