1/2 lb. ground beef 1 c. onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 1/2 lb. bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled 3 16-oz. cans baked beans in sauce 2 16-oz. cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed 15.25-oz. can lima beans, drained and rinsed 1/2 c. catsup 1/4 c. brown sugar, packed 1 t. salt 1 t. dry mustard 2 t. white vinegar
Cook ground beef, onion and garlic, stirring until beef crumbles and is no longer pink; drain. Combine ground beef mixture, crumbled bacon, beans and remaining ingredients in a 3-quart baking dish. Bake, covered, at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Makes 11-1/2 cups. | |
