1-1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs 1/3 c. brown sugar, packed 1-1/4 c. red and green candy-coated chocolates, divided 8 Christmas tree or snowman-shaped marshmallows
Place graham cracker crumbs in a one-quart, wide-mouth jar; press down crumbs with a wooden tamper or the back of a spoon. Add brown sugar on top of crumbs, gently pressing down. Pour 3/4 cup candy-coated chocolates over brown sugar. Arrange the marshmallows inside jar, standing up and facing out; gently press them against the glass without mashing. Pour remaining chocolates behind marshmallows. Attach gift tag with instructions.
Instructions:
Empty contents of jar into a large bowl. Cut marshmallows into
small pieces; add to bowl. Stir until well blended. Combine 1/2 cup
melted butter and one teaspoon vanilla extract. Add butter mixture
to dry ingredients, mixing well. Pat into a greased 9"x9" baking pan; bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
Makes 9 to 12 bars.
