5-oz. pkg. garlic & herb cheese spread, softened 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1/2 lb. tomatoes, coarsely chopped salt and pepper to taste 12-oz. pkg. penne pasta, uncooked 1/4 c. fresh chives, chopped 1/4 c. fresh parsley, chopped
Combine cheese spread, Parmesan cheese, tomatoes, salt and pepper in a large bowl; set aside to warm to room temperature. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain, reserving 1/4 cup hot pasta water. Immediately add pasta to cheese mixture; sprinkle with herbs. Stir gently, adding one to 2 tablespoons reserved water to desired consistency. Serves 4.
