14-oz pkg pretzel sticks or mini pretzel twists 2 egg whites 2 T. vanilla extract 1/2 c. sugar or 3/4 c. powdered artificial sweetener 1 T. cinnamon 1/2 t. cayenne pepper 1/2 t. salt
Pour pretzels in to a large heat-proof bowl; set aside. In a small bowl beat egg whites and vanilla until foamy; pour over pretzels and toss to coat. In a separate medium bowl, combine sugar or sweetener, spices and salt; mix well. Pour mixture over pretzels; toss again to coat evenly. Spread on greased 15"x10" jely-roll pan. Bake uncovered, at 250 degrees for about an hour; let cool. Break apart. Store in airtight container. Makes 15 to 20 servings.
