4 c. chicken broth 1 c. long-cooking white rice, uncooked 1/2 c. dried lentils, rinsed and sorted 3/4 c. onion, finely diced 2 to 3 t. curry powder, to taste 1 t. garlic powder 1/2 t. salt 1/4 t. pepper
Combine all ingredients in a 4-quart crockpot and stir well. Cover and
cook on low setting for 4 to 5 hours, until rice and lentils are tender.
Stir again and serve. Makes 6 servings.
