1/2 c. powdered sugar 2 c. all-purpose flour 1 c. chopped pecans
Combine sugar and flour; pour into a one-quart, wide-mouth canning jar. Top with pecans; seal tightly. Attach instructions.
Instructions:
Blend together 3/4 cup shortening and 1/4 cup softened margarine in a medium bowl. Stir in 2 teaspoons vanilla extract; add contents of jar and mix well. Roll dough into one-inch balls and arrange on greased baking sheets. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until golden. Let cool; roll in powdered sugar. Makes 4 dozen.
