1/2 lb. ground pork, beef or chicken 1 T. sesame oil 1 small head cabbage, sliced 2 carrots, peeled and grated 3 green onions, diced 1/2 t. garlic, minced 1 T. soy sauce 1 t. ground ginger 1/4 t. turmeric 1/2 t. sea salt 1/2 t. pepper 1 to 2 c. rice noodles or angel hair pasta, uncooked Garnish: sliced green onions
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown meat in oil; drain. Stir in cabbage, carrots, onions, garlic, soy sauce and seasonings. Cook over medium heat for about 10 more minutes, stirring often, until vegetables are cooked. Meanwhile, cook noodles or pasta according to package directions. Drain and add to skillet; mix gently. Serve topped with green onions. Serves 4.
