2 20-oz. Cornish game hens, thawed salt and pepper to taste 8-oz. pkg. chicken-flavored stuffing mix, prepared 1 c. chicken broth 1 orange, sliced 1/4 c. orange juice 1/4 t. orange zest 2 T. honey 1 T. lemon juice 1-1/2 t. oil
Sprinkle hens inside and out with salt and pepper. Spoon prepared stuffing loosely into hens and truss closed. Place hens neck-end down in a large slow cooker. Stir together remaining ingredients; pour over hens. Cover and cook on low setting for 5 to 7 hours, basting once or twice with sauce in slow cooker, until juices run clear when pierced. Spoon sauce over hens to serve. Makes 2 servings.
